The Linden Review
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
The Linden Review invites submissions of essays, memoir, flash, experimental, lyric, immersion reportage, graphic medicine, and other nonfiction about personal, public, and environmental health and medicine. Essays should be 5,000 words or less. We do not accept submissions via mail. Please wait to submit another essay for consideration until a decision has been made on your first submission. Simultaneous submissions OK; let us know immediately if work is accepted elsewhere. Include your name and contact information on your submission. Please submit work as a Word Document and using Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced throughout. Include your name and email address on the submission.
Currently, we do not accept poetry or fiction. These submissions will be returned unread.
We do not accept work from faculty, staff, or students affiliated with the University of Nebraska at Omaha except for our blog series. If you are a local, regional, or UNO writer, submit to our “Community Voices” series or contact us about a book review at submissions@lindenreview.com.
